Rainbow Granny Square Cover Pattern
I made one of these in the mid-80s. I have had requests for THIS afghan ever since. Mostly for Brights.. did one in Red and White only for an xmas baby. Friends ask for the pattern, but until I saw this I had thought I was out of print. Going to my LYS to let them know it IS available WOW.. it is fun, easy and addictive with minimal finish construction.

Family Heirloom
I bought this pattern when I was pregnant with my son in 1987 because I loved the size and the pattern. It is in many photo's of him as a newborn and infant including the cherished generation pictures with those no longer with us. I loaned the blanket to my sister who used it with both her children. She gave it to my brother when his son was born. My brother returned it to me after his son outgrew it and I put it away in my cedar chest.
Little did I know when I was happily crocheting a blanket for my expected son in 1987 it would still be around for his son and my first grandson to be born in November 2013.
Even though I still have this pattern and have made this blanket and given it as a gift many, many times I love the idea of using what has become a family heirloom.

replacing an old fav
was great to get the digital version of this favourite. I've made many baby gifts of this blanket. I made the whole set for my oldest son now 27, to come home from the hospital. The blanket is quick to crochet and looks nice in other colours as well.

Love this blanket!
So glad to see this pattern! My uncle’s mother crocheted this blanket for my firstborn, nearly 14 years ago. It was the last thing she ever made and our favorite blanket. I’ve been crocheting for nearly 20 years and have been wanting to make it for friends, and for her great-grandchildren who were born in the last year or two (I’m too selfish to pass on the actual blanket). Just bought it. YAY!! Can't wait for my yarn to arrive.

Interesting Afghan, Jacket, & Booties
I really love the pattern for the afghan. I have not yet made the jacket and booties as I currently do not know of anyone having a baby. But it will be my first choice when I do. I recommend this to all my friends and family.

Intriguing design
I had "shared" a picture of a WIP for this afghan, and was literally slammed with requests for the pattern! So, I sent them your way!
I am enlarging mine and using worsted weight yarn to be use for an adult.
The pattern is easy to follow, but then again I have been crocheting for years. The only problem I had was with how small the print was on the pattern. BTW, I keep sending people over here from The Crochet Crowd on facebook.

An old favorite back again
I had this pattern booklet MANY years ago and misplaced it. I can't count the number of sweaters & booties I hae made using this pattern... I have gotten back into crochet again and remembered just how easy BUT pretty every item in this booklet works up, so I was thrilled when I was able to download the booklet to use once again. An oldie, but a goodie!!

Oldie but a goodie
Received this pattern from a friend years ago. It was getting rather tattered from use. I was glad to find the pattern was still available! Thank-You Leisure Arts!!

This is a "forever" popular baby set.
I first did this set almost 40 years ago. I made so many of these as gifts for family and friends. I had kept my pattern, but alas, when we moved I had misplaced it. I was so happy to be able to find it online. I just finished up one set as a shower gift and now plan to make more up just to have on hand. Beautiful! I plan to purchase more patterns from the older years. Leisure Arts patterns are fantastic.

Worth Repeating
Purchased this pattern in late 80's and made the baby afghan for my nephew. I loved how well it crocheted up and the colors used set it apart from other patterns. I've lost the original booklet and have re-purchased to crochet another for the next generation of babies coming along!
