Romance and knitting‚ even if you've never suspected a connection between the two themes, Knit Along with Debbie Macomber: The Shop on Blossom Street (Leisure Arts #4132) will convince you that they were made for one another. Published as a companion to Debbie Macomber‚s best-selling novel The Shop on Blossom Street, this book features 11 knit baby afghans in a wide variety of patterns and colors. The designs are appealingly presented alongside excerpts from Debbie's novel, giving the reader the feeling that she‚s knitting right along with the ladies from the fictional yarn shop. As a bonus, Debbie has included patterns for three blocks that can be used to knit an afghan for the Warm Up America! Foundation. - Additional Information

I love Debbie's books and I love to knit. So this book is a win-win for me. I read the book The Shop on Blossom Street and wanted to make the baby blanket that Lydia taught her first knitting class. When I got the book last week, I went right to the yarn store and got the yarn. Today I am almost finished with the blanket for my unborn grandson due in July. It looks great and I am going to teach my class at Michaels the same blanket.
