St. Paddy himself would be delighted with this lucky shamrock crochet afghan designed by Clare Stringer! Crocheted using worsted weight yarn and a size I (5.50 mm) hook, the shamrock petals in each square are framed by a double crochet border. All of the squares are then whipstitched together and surrounded by a pretty picot edging for a soft springtime effect. This afghan is an 'easy' skill level design; its approximate finished size is 45" x 67". The original publication was Crochet With Heart magazine, April 1998.
