These are great patterns. "Optic Waves" is the reason I bought the book. I must admit, I found the instructions hard to follow at first. After reworking the first row several times, I followed the instructions as written instead of what I thought they said. Now I find it a very easy pattern. I love working it!

I wanted the book for long. I have been working "Optic Waves." It looks gorgeous, after a couple hours it worked perfectly. It is so quick and beautiful.
Here is a hint, the dc5tog, uses 5 chain stitches. The five DC uses one chain stitch. Hope this helps.
I plan to made one for my younger brother in his university colors, and the same for my older brother. Then for all of my good friends.
