I was so happy when I stumbled upon this pattern! Absolutely a precious little hooded cape. The pattern is well written and easy to follow. I did have to make adjustments to change to a worsted yarn but no problem. I will be back!

This baby cape is beautiful and would make a great Christening wrap. I found it easy to make so I feel even a beginner could possibly make this beautiful cape,

I made this for my first born in the middle of 1970's. We received a blessing January 1980 with the adopting of our son. He wore this cape many times in his first few months as it was perfect for adding warmth in the cold weather.

I crocheted this beautiful cape in the mid 1970's in hopes of using it for my baby. January 4, 1980 a wonderful blessing was born and we adopted our son. He did wear this cape several times as it was perfect for added warmth during the first few months of his life. I still have the original pattern and I need to get busy making it as a gift for others.

I made this cape for my daughter 35 years ago. I was amazed and very grateful to find this cape online as I no longer had my pattern. Now I am making it for my grandaughters! It's a wonderful cape to pass down thru the generations!

there was also a Dream Puff baby afghan with this cape and I am still making it and it has even been pictured on the NCAL (assisted living) internet Craft Gallery. It is so easy and turns out lovely. Everyone just loves it and I really enjoy makig it.

I made this in 1975 for my first-born. It is easy and it is charming. I used the knitted hooded sweater pattern in the booklet many times over the years and I would say that has always been popular with every mom that receives it. I hope you make that pattern available again as well. Even though I have the original pattern, I would happily buy that sweater pattern again.

I have made this cape twice and both times I had a problem with the second row. Finally tweaked it enough to make it work. Just wondered before I start it again if there have been corrections to this pattern.
