I was intrigued by the different shape of the design on this blanket. Can't wait to start it.

I made this for my baby daughter, now 26. What memories it brings back! When I saw the picture I couldn't believe it! Fun to do, worth the work!

Purchased this pattern in late 80's and made the baby afghan for my nephew. I loved how well it crocheted up and the colors used set it apart from other patterns. I've lost the original booklet and have re-purchased to crochet another for the next generation of babies coming along!

I made this for my sister's first child 30 years ago, and just made the same blanket for his first child. Timeless.

I made this 30 years ago for my youngest daughter and looked all over for this pattern for my grandchildren. I even wrote to Leisure Arts asking about it.

I spotted this pattern online, but not as a baby blanket. It was done up as a queen size afghan, and the colors that were used caught my eye - I knew I had to hunt it down and get it for me. It was shown on You Tube, from there to Etsy, and when I emailed the person that made it, she led me to Leisure Arts. Now it's mine..

Many years ago I found this pattern, fell in love with it, and after making it, I put it in my hope chest, planning to give to one of my nieces or nephews (who were children at the time) when they had a child. In 2006, I sent it to my niece/goddaughter when she gave birth to her first child...that little girl still loves her 'rainbow afghan'. I also made a set for my dear friend living in Texas when she had her first son...who is now expecting his own son with his wife. My girlfriends, evfen to this day, refer to this pattern as "THE" baby afghan...we all liked the pattern so much

I have seen so many beautiful pinned photos and pictures on Facebook of blankets & sets made with this pattern I just had to purchase it. I have not made it yet, but it is definitely in my queue!

I made this pattern many years ago. I lost it and recently saw it again. A male friend of mine has it. It brought tears to my eyes as I made it over 30 years or so ago for my child. I was happy to see it is attainable. I guess because it was so challenging and I was able to make it successfully is what made it so special.

I bought this pattern as a leaflet over 15 years ago. Every time I make one as a gift (I have made dozens) I always get "Can you make me one, maybe in green only..." you pick a color or texture and I have been asked for it, or thought of it on my own. EVERY one of them has been beautiful!
My original leaflet has gotten so tired I even made up my own table to help me keep track of the rounds and colors to preserve my original. I just listed which round, what colors and the number of stitches/round and check them off as I go. Major pattern saver!
