I was looking for a pattern to use with a roving yarn, to make into a full-sized afghan for my husband. I had seen this made up, famously in black and purple, and felt the pattern had enough contrast of variety and simplicity to make into a nice, manly blanket. The pattern was a joy to work with, and while I didn't do the yarn changes to create the rainbow as per the pattern, I did add an extra set of rounds to the pattern, as well as some extra panels to the length. The pattern was a joy to work with, and not only am I delighted with the outcome, so is my very fussy husband. :D

I had this pattern a long time ago. I made many of these. I somehow lost the book. Have been looking for the pattern to make more. My niece suggested to look on line. So glad I found it again. Everyone I have made this for just loves it. Thank You.

I bought this book when it first came out. I have made this afghan so many times. I never get tired of making it or hearing the people talk about it when I give it to them. You can never go wrong with a Leisure Arts pattern. Especially this one.

I have not tried any patterns yet but from what I see they are beautiful. The instructions are easy and look forward to making them. I have used LA patterns for many many years.

This pattern is a real classic, I am so happy that it was not lost and gone forever, I used to have way back when, it went missing, I think I loaned it out. When I saw it, I purchased it right away with your ebooks, which is a great way to get the patterns I really love. I cannot wait to get my yarn out and get started on this beauty, once again. Thanks for bringing it back.

I fell in love with this pattern when I first saw it! There are so many different color combinations that can be done for either a girl or a boy! I have made 2 set already and everyone comments on how beautiful it is.I'm now working on my third set for my next grand-son, loving the pattern with blues & greens! It is so easy to follow the directions, anyone wanting to make it will love it as much as I do!

I purchased the original book when it came out a very long time ago. Through my many moves and such, it got misplaced. I've been searching for a replacement and was in SHOCK that I found one! THANK YOU LEISURE ARTS!!!!!

I've been making this blanket and set for over 25 years. To this day, my friends can remember this blanket and often it's been kept as a keepsake. Seems like I even repaired one some time ago. I've received many photos with the babies and children (later) that have the blanket in this set. I can't go to a baby shower any more without one of these as a gift! It's like having your favorite dish to pass. :)

I inherited this pattern from one of the books I got from my sister when she died. I unfortunately loaned it to a friend who lost while moving. Cant tell you what a thrill is was to find again, especially since my granddaughter is now expecting my first greatgrandchild. Only Wish I could get the whole book.
