The design is crocheted using worsted weight yarn and a size H (5.00 mm) hook. Buttons are used to embellish the stars and the giraffe while 6 mm beads are used for the eyes.

Beautiful design.

I love the colour combinations and layout of this baby afghan. As well, the stitch for the water and the sky is easy enough for anyone to do, but adds a unique look that makes it appear more complicated and interesting. I also enjoy how the embellishments are placed on after, allowing me the opportunity for my own creative touch with placement and even supplementing other animals. Definitely worth the price for me.
