Description: Owning a doll was once considered a luxury, and while a few were fortunate enough to possess a porcelain or wax doll, most youngsters played with dolls that were lovingly home-made from corn husks, cloth or wood. This old-fashioned doll, designed to sit on a shelf, is created with a muslin body attached to a block of wood.
