Description: Set includes these figures: Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Three Wisemen (Gaspar, Melchior, and Balthasar), Shepherd, Shepherd Boy, and Angel.
The figures are knit using fingering weight yarn and size 3 (3.25 mm) needles. The standing figures are each formed with a plastic foam cone for the body, plastic foam ball for the head, and chenille stick for the arms.

Nativity scene rates front page news

In a recent issue of the Freeport Journal Standard (IL), Gertrude Booth of Lena, IL was featured with her knitted Nativity scene; she made it some 30 years ago - had planned to make one for all her friends, but by the time she finished the first one, that idea went right out of her head. The scene is now going to be an heirloom to be handed down in the family. What a knitter she must be!!
