  1. Great book for the average knitter

    I am very glad I bought this pattern book. A few notes about the patterns...There are several patterns that use 2 strands of yarn held together while knitting. There are 3 baby booties patterns all of which are not for the beginner. The stitches are simple however the author assumes you know how to piece the booties together without written instructions. She does say the book is for the "average" knitter. The mittens and blankets are extremely simple therefore a beginner could make these gifts fairly quickly as well. This is a great book for the price.
