Add more color and texture to your wardrobe with easy-wearing cowls! These 10 patterns to knit were created by Lisa Gentry, and they use a wide variety of yarns ranging from light weight to super bulky weight. Besides being warm and attractive, cowls are a practical choice. They are seamed or knit into one continuous piece, or buttoned together for wearing. So while a scarf or muffler has loose ends that must be rewrapped or retied--once you put on a cowl, it stays put beautifully! Designs include Garter Ridge Cowl, Shoulder Fringed Cowl, Buttoned Lace Cowl, Squiggles and a Flower Cowl, Button as You Please Cowl, Tempting Texture Cowl, Rose Neck Wrap Cowl, Diamonds with a Twist Cowl, Lace with a Twist Cowl, and Sideways Made Cowl.

This book is fabulous--couldn't wait to make all of them, but have completed one so far. I always love Leisure Arts products. They are always clear and complete.

I have to admit, I got this on sale and at first this is the reason I bought it. I usually don't buy patterns books, but when I saw the patterns in this and the instructions in the back, I really thought I got a bargain. The cowls are very nice and versatile, and the general instructions in the back would be very useful for someone trying the patterns for the first time.

Nice collection of cowls to knit. Good color choices. Love the fact it is ebook and I don't have to find room to keep another shelf book.

Love the styles. Definitely not for beginners. I have been knitting since I was 10 years old, that's . . . a lot of years ago and the pattern was somewhat difficult to follow. Of course, I did the most difficult one in the book. a schematic would have help just a little. Love that fact that it is on my tablet and travels without wrinkling. Oh yea, and I got it on sale!

I like most of the cowls in this book and it is great to print out only what is needed.

I purchased the book for the cover cowl. I didn't like any of the others or so I thought. Then I began searching for a cowl I could make for an elderly friend. The book is filled with cowls for all ages and all stations in life. I'm glad I took the chance and bought the book.

I absolutely love the patterns in this book! But even more, Leisure Arts has done a fantastic job in laying out the patterns with space between rows, describing and illustrating stitches, including yarn weight numbers and listing in the back the yarns used in illustrations. Best of all, I didn't have to pay $20 or more to get the one pattern that grabs my attention. I think I'll be making all of these as I do like them.

I really like all the patterns and will enjoy knitting them in the future,
