Description: Mary Beth Temple, the author of The Secret Language of Knitters, created this lace shrug to go with a sleeveless dress she wore at The National NeedleArts Association's summer show. "Whenever I wear it I get compliments, especially on the way the X pattern forms across the back," Mary Beth said, noting that she is pleased the pattern is now available online.

The shrug is knit from side-to-side, working from one wrist, across the back, to the other wrist. It is made using light weight yarn and size 10 (6 mm) straight knitting needles. Our model is in Bernat® Cool Crochet. summer fashion
