Description: These darling crocheted dolls “ape” beloved sock monkeys that have been favorites for generations! By holding a strand each of tan and ecru sport weight yarn together, you create the tweedy look of the rugged footwear that Grandmother used to fashion the treasured playthings. Crocheted clothing brings extra personality to the sock monkey look-alikes. Choose from Benny, wearing a snappy red vest with a black hat, or Blossom, in a flower-trimmed pinafore and sweet Mary Jane shoes.
The basic monkey is crocheted using two strands of sport weight yarn and a size F (3.75mm) hook. The clothing is crocheted using worsted weight yarn and a size G (4.00 mm) hook.
