I purchased this book because I wanted to make Christmas Tree ornaments for the house, and found everything I needed to accomplish it.
The snowflake instructions are easy to follow. The picture frames and couple of the ball ornament covers come out looking nice and dresses the Christmas tree in elegance.
My next project is the angel Christmas tree topper.

The patterns I have used so far have been very nice. I wish there was a statement of how many yards each ornament takes however as I have substituted other threads than bedspread cotton.

I have only tried a few, but are just as pretty as the picture and easy to follow instructions.

I was amazed at the range & versatility of the patterns in this book. Just looking at the pictures is a pleasure, so I am hoping my crochet skills will be adequate to cope with the intricate designs. I shall certainly enjoy trying.
I have one complaint. As with many other of these pattern books, much of the text is on a coloured background, this is expensive to print & much harder to read for older eyes.

Enjoyed the Big Book of Thread. Downloaded the book, but only printed the pages of the project I was working with. This is the only way to buy a book. Backed it up on my jump drive. Have it with me at all times and it's light weight.
