What could possibly be more cozy than snuggling up with a warm afghan, next to the fireplace, on a cold winter night? In this book, you’ll find four distinctively different crocheted designs that are great for snuggling. Each afghan is worked in one piece (no seams to sew!) using worsted weight yarn. We’ve included photographs of two different color combinations for each style, but your imagination is your only limitation. Leaflet 335 Afghan Parade Designs include Small Shell by Leisure Arts staff; V-Stitch Shell by Virginia Hogan; Lacy Chevron by Sr. Mary F. Strecker CSJ; and Stained Glass by Diana Nelson.

I just love this pattern and like that there are a few different colour variations to get ideas from.

Have made the scrap pattern of the Lacy Chevron more times than I can count. People love this as a gift. I'm working on one right now.

There is much talk about the Lacy Chevron pattern on the web. Abe's mom, Mary, from "Breaking Amish" was making this afghan. After several failed attempts to purchase this pattern from different sites, I contacted Leisure Arts and requested this be leaflet be put back in circulation and be available for purchase via eBook. I wanted to thank Leisure Arts for listening and I will be starting this project very soon.
