Dye-namic Florals
This “dye-namic” technique lets you “paint” a distinctive background on ordinary 14-count Aida fabric, to add depth and originality to your cross stitch projects. Our step-by-step instructions will guide you through the simple process of dabbing the evenweave cloth with fabric dye before you begin stitching, ensuring that your cross stitch will be a unique work of art. Three gorgeous floral designs by Amy Hautman portray tulips, irises, and sunflowers, to take you from the softness of a spring garden to the vibrance of an autumn bouquet.
For additional designs using this technique, see #4173 More Dye-namic Florals, featuring daisies, hibiscus, and poppies.
