What could possibly be more cozy than snuggling up with a warm afghan, next to the fireplace, on a cold winter night? In this book, you'll find four distinctively different crocheted designs that are great for snuggling. Each afghan is worked in one piece (no seams to sew!) using worsted weight yarn. We‚'ve included photographs of two different color combinations for each style, but your imagination is your only limitation. Designs include Small Shell by Leisure Arts staff; V-Stitch Shell by Virginia Hogan; Lacy Chevron by Sr. Mary F. Strecker CSJ; and Stained Glass by Diana Nelson.

Mama Mary's afghan
Thank you Leisure Arts for reprinting this pattern. I wrote and received this pattern from Momma Mary as she calls herself from the program Return to Amish. As an expert crocheted, I was unable to follow it, but am glad I have a personal letter from her. Looking forward to trying the pattern from your leaflet.

Afghans Are Great Crochet Gifts
I have a 3 ring binder filled with afghan patterns and this lovely book is next to it. Not sure why I had to have it since it was only the one pattern that I wanted but who knows, you can never have too many. I have many Leisure Arts booklets so this one is just one more.

Lacy Chevron pattern...
I too have heard so much about this pattern from the Knitting Paradise website and have seen it made in gorgeous color combinations that I also wanted to make one for myself also. Thanks for re-issuing it.

Love this pattern
Have made the scrap pattern of the Lacy Chevron more times than I can count. People love this as a gift. I'm working on one right now.

Ask and ye shall receive!
There is much talk about the Lacy Chevron pattern on the web. Abe's mom, Mary, from "Breaking Amish" was making this afghan. After several failed attempts to purchase this pattern from different sites, I contacted Leisure Arts and requested this be leaflet be put back in circulation and be available for purchase via eBook. I wanted to thank Leisure Arts for listening and I will be starting this project very soon.
